It is learnt that Bohra follow female circumcision and say that it is in the hadith. Please let me know if the same is correct and what opinion does the Quran and hadith have about this ritual. Is it correct to follow the same?

It is right for women to go through circumcision. However, it is not sunnah for women like men.
