Can you follow the Fatwa of Saudi Shaikh while living/working in Saudi Arabia?

Mohtaram Shaikh Could we follow the FATWA of Saudies SHAIKH while we are living/Working in Saudi Arab. Actually I am looking the FATWA for leasing of carlast four month, as per one company they have fatwa for thier company and they took six month for approval from SHARIA Council. Please advice.

Answer:

(Fatwa: 314=314/L)

(1) If you are a Hanafi you must follow your Imam only. Therefore, if there is any Hanafi Sheikh in Saudi Arabia you can follow his instruction; otherwise you should not follow the Saudi Sheikhs rather you are enjoined to contact any Hanafi Sheikh.

(2) Please, send us the detail of leasing a car with the fatwa, then we shall have a say in the matter, in-sha-Allah.
