Can I marry my Aunt’s daughter despite family opposition?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalamu Alaikkum I am loving my Aunt’s daughter for past eight years. Now we want to marry each other. The problem is that my mother and elder brother is not accepting it because her family members not good in attitude(anger, breaking other hearts by words). We love each other very much. If I not marrying her then she will do suicide. Without her I can’t imagine my married life. Please guide me in proper way so that I can get good guidance.

Such marriages of unlawful love are commonly not successful. You are getting mad and blind in love, but such marriages do not last long, and when her family members are not good in attitude (anger and breaking others? heart) then she will also adopt the same attitude towards you. Therefore, you must obey your mother and elder brother and never act like a fool.
