assalam o alaikum, i want to know that celebrating of birthday of small childrens & also eating of cake is permissible or not?

Celebrating birthday, whether of a child or aged, is unlawful in any case. It is custom invented by the westerners, Muslims should refrain from it. Cutting and eating cake on the occasion is a part of the same custom. So, it is also unlawful due to being a custom and resemblance to the aliens.
