I was having sharai beards but by the time i trimmed it and now its short, less than one fist,but i know what i did was wrong. what dose islam (shariya) say about this? please recommend me what should i do now.

It is wajib to grow one fist beard. It is haram to shave it or trim it at less than a fist. This is such a sin which continues for 24 hours; therefore you should let the beard to one fist and do not touch it until it grows more than a fist. And, keep on repenting to Allah, seeking His forgiveness and ask Him to enable you to grow full beard.
