assallamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu …… I wanted to ask a question wich lots of people are familiar with..im a teenager living in canada and i try my best to keep my gaze low but the problem is ders too many naked ladies out here..wen i look down sometimes i find my self looking at a girls leg or if i look up once all i get to see is a beautiful girl which brings thoughts and ive read a lot about the great aalim moulana anwar shah kishmiri of how he use to tie a cloth around his eyes for protection but that barakah amal cannot be done by me cuz im likely to crash into something and indeed his status of piety is way over my level so inshaallah please give me a solution to protect my self from this which is a very big problem for me.

(Fatwa: 164/1030=D/1429)
Neither do you need to tie cloth on your eyes nor to walk closing your eyes. Just you should lower your gaze, this has been ordered in the Holy Quran. One can also raise up your eyes when you need to see the way etc. However, you should avoid seeing any non-Mahram intentionally and if suddenly or by coincidence you happen to see, you should immediately divert your eyes form there. By doing so punctually, you will get the status of piety (taqwa), in-sha-Allah.
