asslamualekum janab me and my wife was living in delhi together in 2006 ,that time she used to fight with me on very very small issue, one time i was loose my patience and given talaq one time, after that she changed her behavior and living with me pleasantly, now i am woking in doha qatar, whenever i return india for few day, in few day atleast one time she must fight with me then many time i said to her if you do’t change your behavioer i shall give you talaq and some time said we can not live toghether so must be call to our parent and take talaq, even we are like together too much, please guide to us one time i already said talaq and many time given threated to talaq, are my talaq took place or not,
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1757/1280/L=1431)
After giving one talaq to your wife, if only you threatened her for talaq and did not give any other talaq, then no talaq occurred on your wife except the first one.
Note: The answer is correct. After one talaq if you took her back, she will remain your wife. And if you did not take her back as neither by words nor practice till the iddah was over, then you will have to have a fresh nikah.
