I would like to know the status of marriage of a raped woman. Raped during civil riots, or some strangers. Does the couples marriage be comes haram or is it halal, and can they continue to stay as couples. Is there any period that the husband should stay away from his wife (like idat). please put light on this issue.

It is haram and severe sin to blame someone with adultery without an established proof. However, if it happened so then too nikah will remain intact and no iddah will be wajib.
