It is known that for female to go for Haj/Umrah her Mehram/husband should be with her. But what is the saying after reaching Makkah. Can the wife go alone to perform umrah/tawaf while husband is taking rest in his hotel room / sitting around in Haram.

It is unlawful for a woman to go for hajj and umrah without a mahram male. After reaching Makkah she can do tawaf and umrah without a mahram.
