Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
When I born then my father is married an another woman. And my mother take me with herself. Sometime my father come our home to see us, but 2 years later he stop to come our home. Now I am 24 years old and I have a good job and our family condition is good. Recently my father start to come our home to see us. he come for just a day or few hour and he return his home (his other family). my question is: he never divorce my mother. but long time gap to see each other. Is they are living in married life or divorce life. and is it right for my father to come my home. what is the shariah order.

Answer

(Fatwa: 968/D=127/K=1432)

It is right for your father to come to your home. You are his son and your wife is his daughter-in-law. There is no harm in visiting both of you to enquire about your health. If your father had ever not uttered any word of talaq to your mother and they admit it, then it is right for your father to visit your mother to enquire about her health etc. No talaq takes place by long separation nor the relation of nikah comes to an end. Thus, your mother is his wife and it is right for both of them to meet in privacy.
