My company provides 15000 as medical allowance yearly. For this, we have to provide medical bills, if we provide medical bills and prescription, then this amount will be tax free else we have to pay tax on this amount. As my father, mother, wife and my children is under this cover, I can have medical expenditure more than 15000 for sure, but it is very tedious to preserve each and every receipt and also prescription. Also most of the times, you do not have prescription for the medicines. Also my parents stay in my native while I am working in Hyderabad. So it is challenging to collect all these bills and prescription. So usually I get some fake bills and submit it. Is it ok for me to do this?

It is a lie and treachery to produce fake bill. Hence you should save your original receipts. Do not get allowance by producing false receipt.
