Is it permissible to eat fish cooked in oil where non-halal meat has been fried?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am M Shahid from Japan. I am a student in Japanese university. It is very difficult to find halal food like India and Pakistan. Wherever we go only pork and non halal meet are available. But there is fish. I have one question can we eat fish dishes which is fried in same oil where non halal meet was fried.

Answer

(Fatwa: 401/373/N=1433)

The oil in which the meat of pig or any other haram meat is fried is impure as well as the fish fried in it shall become impure. It is not lawful to eat it.
