Can a dawat-e-valima have a mix of non-veg and veg options in the menu?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Asslam-alaikum…… My question is about dawat-e-valima, it is that whether the menu should be only Non-veg or there is some flexiblity about the vegetarian dinner of valima?

Serving meat in wedding feast (walimah) is not necessary. walimahmay be observed with whatever is available with ease. It may be vegetable as well. However it is mentioned in hadith:

اولم ولو بشاة

Hold a walimah, even if only with a sheep.

Keeping it in view, if someone presents meat believing it mustahab, then it is ok.
