While offering Taravih behind an Imam, what should be read in the second rakah while sitting? Is it the same as a normal salah or is their a shorter method. I am asking this because generally I am not able to complete reading attahiyat, Durood and other duas which I am able to do otherwise in fardh salah.

One should read the same Tashahhud in taravih which is read in salah. No separate Tashahhud is reported for the same. It is very much possible that Imam Sahib reads Tashahhud etc in taravih quickly.
