While listening to the holy Quran, can religious books be read?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
While listening to the holy Quran, can religious books be read? Is it permitted?

(Fatwa: 734/741/N=7/1438)

In case some religious book is read while listening to the Holy Quran then neither the mind would be attentive towards the Holy Quran nor will grasp the words of the religious book; hence while listening to the Holy Quran no religious book should be read or any work be done rather one must be fully attentive towards the Holy Quran and listen to it. It is the demand of the etiquette and respect of the Holy Quran.

Allah knows Best!
