Is it permissible for a muezzin to not keep a beard according to Islamic law?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
In our masjid the muezzin is not keeping dadhi (beard), whether he is correct & whether is the azan legal as per our Shariah.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 688/580/H=6/1438)

(1) It is haram to shave the beard. It is also unlawful and major sin to trim or get it trimmed less than one fist. Its detail is available in Fatawa Shami, Kitab al-Sawm. Ikhtilaf-e-Ummat and Sirat-e-Mustaqeem speaks about it in great detail and the summary is what we have written above. The person who shaves his beard or keeps it less than one fist he is fasiq (transgressor).

(3) The adhan of a fasiq is makrooh though it shall not be repeated if he delivers it.
