Is reciting or invocating a certain surah or ayat or names of Allah (SWT) or any other azkars specific number of times for specific purposes like increment in rizq etc comes under innovation or is it allowed?

It is not bida’h rather it is lawful. Hadiths speak about reciting Surah Waqia after Maghrib.
