My father died 30 years back. My mother died 2 years back leaving 4 sons and 2 daughters. [All married long back].Mother has left 3 houses + about 3 lakhs cash + about 450 grams of gold ornaments. All sons and daughters have been given gold by my mother at the time of marriage. How above property can be divided among brothers and sisters? Please include cash and gold specifically in your reply.

(Fatwa: 786/655/H=05/1435)
The children are the sole owner of the gold etc which was given into their complete possession. No inheritance shall be issued in it. Whatever property, gold, cash etc the parents left at the time of their death it shall be divided into 10 shares after paying due rights preceding inheritance in case the provided detail of the heirs is correct. Out of the total 2-2 shares shall go to each son while each daughter shall get 1-1 share.
