Bringing Children To The Masjid

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta Azaadville

Question:

Is it permissible to bring children to the masjid ? At what age should we start bringing them ? What if the child is a well behaved child that does not make a noise in the masjid?

Answer:

Children who are very young should not be brought to the Masjid. Only those children who understand and respect the sanctity of the Masjid should be brought, which is generally when they are about seven years of age.
