Q: I was wondering if you could give some answer for the following:
1] Can non Muslims control the Deen al-Islam (religion of Islam) in its entirety without exception?
2] or its adherents in any way whatsoever without exception?
3] or with Muslims
4] or adherents of the perennialist school of Martin Ling who follow the T.U.R. doctrine
5] or any of the other perennialists who call themselves Muslims,
6] or any other religions, like the bataniyya and rafidiyya?
7] or for any other reason without exception whatsoever, in this day and age or at any time ?
8] can the qutb al irshad or anyone push people out of the Deen because of any type of kufr (disbelief) and sins from the past or at any time even if they have made tawba, like excommunicating in catholisicm?
A: Here is a general answer to your questions. Allah Ta’ala controls the religion of Islam just as He controls everything else. Allah allows devil forces whether they in the form of jinn or man to penetrate the ranks of the Muslims by creating false groups like Shiasm etc to lead them astray.
These forces, however, cannot penetrate all the Muslims because Nabi sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said that there will always be a group who will be aided on the truth. Those who oppose them will not be able to harm them.
