Can a person prefer excerpts from a scholar over The Qur`an?

What do Ulema-e-Sharee’at say about a person who prefers excerpts from Mulla A’li Qari’s writing over an aayah of Quran?

Byyinu wa tujiru,

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
