A. Pet euthanasia is not allowed in Islam. Make the animal comfortable as possible and let it die a natural death. It will die on its decreed time. We will not be questioned by Allah Ta’aala for its natural death. But should we take its life, then we shall be held accountable, for that is killing unjustly, regardless of the motive.

Allah Ta’aala knows best.
