if you divorce your wife in your mind, does that count

for example you think in your mind `my wife is divorced`?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

In principle, the mere thought of divorce does not constitute divorce. The Nikah still remains valid and intact[1]
