Will Hajj be accepted if the Tawaaf Ziyaarah was performed before the sacrifice of the animal?

Alhamdulillah I and my husband were blessed with the tawfiq for Hajj this year. There is one thing that we need to be clarified. On the 10th of Zilhaj, after stoning the big jamarah, we proceeded to Haram e Pak. Since we had arranged for the sacrificial animals to be slaughtered privately, on reaching Makkah we found out that our turn for the sacrifice could take uptil Maghrib salah time that day.

Meanwhile some relative of ours who resides in Riadh, is associated with the tablighi Jamaat and has completed his Dars e Nizami MashaAllah, told us that it was permissible for us to use this time till the sacrifice for doing our Tawaf e Ziyarah as it was permissible to do so and it will save time for us too. So we performed our Tawaf e Ziyarah and Saii, and right at the end of it we received the call that the sacrifice had just been performed…it was Maghrib time exactly….so after Maghrib salah we performed our Halq and Qasar, went to our room in Makkah, performed Ghusl, had dinner, said our isha prayers, and then proceeded to mina. W reached back mina by 8:30 PM.

Please say if anything wrong was committed by us as now some ppl are creating doubts for us that tawaf e Ziyara before the slaughter was not the right thing to do. We are really worried for the Sehat of our Hajj.

As-salāmu alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, the sequence (ترتیب) between sacrificing an animal and performing Tawaaf-e-Ziyaarah is not compulsory. Accordingly, the Tawaaf-e-ziyaarah performed before sacrificing the animal was valid.[1]

The information given by your relative who studied darse-nizami was correct. We make dua to Allah that He accepts your Hajj and Ibadah. Ameen
