Question on Wudhu

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Assalamu Alaikum,

In ablution, I put my arm under running water from tap and wash it three times up till elbows. Is it the correct way or should I gather water in my palm first and rinse it down to the elbow three times? If this is not the correct way then do I have to return my prayers?

Answer

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your Wudhu is correct and valid. You do not have to repeat your Salaah’s.[1]
