If a person returns to where he used to live, is still regarded as a musafir?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I am studying away from home, and when I return for the holidays, and if it is less than 14 days am I regarded as a musafir? Does it matter if it’s my birth place or not?

Answer

When you do not have your own home and come to your parents home, irrespective if your parents home being your birth place or not, you will be
Muqeem.
