Would the Following Be Considered a Musafir

Question:

Assalamualaikum a person went in Jamat to Huddersfield from Blackburn (44 miles) then got tashkeeled to Halifax which is close to Blackburn. As he’s traveled more than 70 miles altogether is he a Musafir?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If a person intended Huddersfield to Blackburn (less than 48 miles) they will not be considered a Musafir so will pray salah in full. If from that place they travel to a place under 48 miles again (like Halifax), they will still not be a traveler- even if they travel the whole of the UK in this manner!

Only Allah knows best
