AOA Bro. My parents wanted me to get married while I was in school?but I wanted to study further for medicine! Then after completing my high school, I moved to USA for further studies..and met some people who changed my views n gave me Islamic lessons and I think that I should get married now! But I donno how to explain my parents..b?coz now they want me to study! And now I want to become Hafizah & want to marry a person who is an Hafiz? Can u plz advice me on these matters? JazakAllah
Marriage is a major step in life. You should exercise extreme caution in
proceeding towards marriage.
Your happiness and grief depends on the type of person you marry. The choice
of a marriage partner requires skills, wisdom and experience. For that, you
should consult with your parents. Their guidance motivated by love for you
and experience of life cannot be taken for granted. You should confide in
them by being clear and transparent. Wait for their response and take the
matter up from there.
