I’ve heard that the Soul (Ruh) of a person visits their house for 40 days? Is there any significance of the 3rd day (‘Ziyarat’) or 40 days (‘Chehlum’) after a person’s death?

Are we required to visit their grave on these days?

There is no basis of the deceased visiting the house after 3 days and 40 days.

Anything related to this un-Islamic basis is also incorrect. This including visiting the graves.
