Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I am a Sunni Muslim, but want to get married to a Shiah Muslim, an ismali. Is this allowed, will the nikaah be valid, as there is a lot of difference in the beliefs of both parties, and the method of practising Islam is very different, or do either of us have to convert?

Answer

It is not permissible for you to marry a Shi?a.
