Once a man has passed away, is it permissible for his wife to view his face, or vice versa, as I was under the impression that marriage ended with divorce or death?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org
Answer

It is permissible for the wife to touch her deceased husband, give him Ghusl, look at him, etc. while he may only look at her. He may not touch her or give her Ghusl, etc. (Ahsanul Fatawa Vol.4 Pg.225, Imdaadul Fatawa Vol.1 Pg.489, Fatawa Mahmoodiyya Vol.2 Pg.415)
