Although my high school allows me to leave school during Jummah salaat and then come back but the thing is I have been ill for the past 3 weeks and have fallen behind in Chemistry class, if I don’t attend class EVERY day it may affect my potential in passing this class. Is there anything else I can do? Come home and pray jummah salaat? Or continue going to the masjid?

You should go to the Musjid to perform Jumu’ah Salaat with Jamaat and cover up your lessons in some other way, for example, through tuitions, etc.
