As’salaam alaikum, is it allowed fo pick up coins found in the street and pass it on to beggars, or should one ignore it,in the light of it being another person’s lost property ? Jazakallah

If the amount is insignificant and one is certain that the owner will not be
searching for the lost money, then one may give the money to a begger on
behalf of the actual owner.
