Some Islamic book stores sells the Holy Quran in 30 booklets, where each booklet consists of one Juz. Does a person need wudu when you only touch or keep or just reciting out of one of these booklets.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Another question: For a woman that studies Hafiz, can she hold one of these booklets when she has her Ghuid. If not, what do you suggest for a woman to do when she has her Ghuid while doing her Hafiz?

Answer

1. It is necessary to be in the state of Wudhu when holding each Juz.
2. It is prohibited for a female to touch or even recite the Qur’aan during
her Haydh (menses). A female doing Hifz should resume her Hifz after her
Haydh.
