Assalamu Aalikum brother
My question regarding farewell tawaf.
my flight is at 9 am in the morning from jeddah so i need to leave Haram by 6 am.The fajr prayer is around 4 30 am.I leaving makkah after 10 days stay and umrah..therefore i would like to perform farewell tawaf.It may be impossible to complete the tawaf after fajr and before 6 am .therefore is it possible to start tawaf say before fajr and when the time come for fajr jammah join it and then after the prayer complete the tawaf?i am aware that farewell tawaf should be the last thing to do if one is planning to do it.Please advice how to manage both fajr and farewell tawaf before 6 am.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh
In principle, Tawaful wida is not Fardh on a person who is performing Umrah. However, it is Mustahab(desired) to perform the Tawaful Wida just before one is leaving.[1]
In the enquired situation, you may join the Jamaat for Fajr Salah after starting Tawaaful Wida. The Fajr Salah will not invalidate the Tawaful Wida. If you joined the Fajr Salah after completing four rounds of tawaf then you may complete the remaining rounds. If you joined the Fajr Salah before completing the four rounds then it is better to perform the tawaf again. [2]

( وأما ) واجباتها فشيئان : السعي بين الصفا والمروة ، والحلق أو التقصير
فأما طواف الصدر فلا يجب على المعتمر ، وقال الحسن بن زياد يجب عليه كذا ذكر الكرخي وجه قوله : إن طواف الصدر طواف الوداع والمعتمر يحتاج إلى الوداع ، كالحاج ، ولنا أن الشرع علق طواف الصدر بالحج بقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { من حج هذا البيت فليكن آخر عهده به الطواف }

ويسقط طواف الوداع عن ستة: عن المكي؛ لأن التوديع شأن المفارق، والمعتمر، وأهل المواقيت فمن دونها ممن نوى الإقامة بمكة قبل النفر الأول، وبعده لا يسقط عند أبي حنيفة – رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ

أو تجديد وضوء ثم عاد بنى لو كان ذلك بعد إثيان أكثره ولو استأنف لا شيئ عليه الخ ويستحب الاستيناف في الطواف إذا كان قبل إتيان أكثره
