Could we or not say “I’m fasting” when someone give me something to eat or invite me to eat smth?

When we fast nafila like for instance 3 days each month : 1. Could we or not say ?I?m fasting? when someone give me something to eat or invite me to eat smth? 2. Could we say to somebody ?I fast 3 days in a month? and the nya will be just to help to believe that it’s a good deal and it’s easy to do it ?

Answer

You may say that you are fasting and refuse to accept what they offer.
