Upon a death of a non-Muslim, is there any hope of them of ever reaching heaven?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

In the sense that you pray for them to be forgiven and if you ask ALLAH swt to guide them the right way but u dont know if it they were actully guided. Will your duas ever help them. What if they never heard of our religion or no one could preach them bcuz they are in a place where you cant reach them? Could you please email me back with an answer as soon as possible. That would help me reach some peace. Jazak Allah Khair

Answer

According to Imaam Abu Hanifa, such people must at least believe in the
oneness of Allah Ta’ala. Insha Allah, that will be sufficient for their
salvation.
