Why does the Quran say: “We”?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Why does the Quran say: “We” for example, “it is He Who Makes the stars (as beacons)for, that you may guide yourself, with their help, through the dark spaces of land and sea, WE detail OUR signs for people who know” (Surah Al-An’am v97) – as you can see it say “WE”, i just like to know why it says that, should it not be “ME” or “I”, also the “our” part as well. Thank you

Answer

The word ‘We’ in the Qur’aan refers to Allah alone. The plural is used to
emphasise strength and power of Allah.
