Respected Mufti Sahab, As-Salaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu. Can a muslim deal in duplicate of branded products if inform his customer while selling about duplicacy of the product. What if a muslim work with an employer dealing in such type of business. Jazak Allah. Was Salaam.

Allah Ta’ala says, ‘. And do not aid in sin.’ (Maaidah). Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, ‘Whosoever deceives is not from amongst
us.’ (Tirmidhi)
To change the expiry dates of products and sell them is deception. To
deliver such products will be assisting in sin.
