A sunni couple got married and after some time the husband changed to shiasm. Is the marriage still valid since the girl is still sunni?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org
Answer

Contemporary Ja’fari Shi’as have beliefs that are inconsistent with the Qur’
aan and Ahaadith. Hence, they are not Muslims. Kindly refer to Shi’sim
unedited / Unbridgeable Divide at www.ask-imam.com

The Nikah has terminated from the time the ‘husband’ became a Shi’a.
