Is it permissible for a maulana to go and lead jummah prayer in a school prayer hall which would mean that he cannot offer jummah in the mosque. We are concerned because the 5 fard prayers are not held in congregation in the prayer hall so perhaps his jummah will not be valid. However he is the only person who could go and provide much needed instruction to the students at the school in the English language.

Walaikum assalam,
It is not one of the conditions for the validity of Jumuah that the five fard prayers be offered there. As such, he could go to the school and prayer jumuah there, as long as it is officially recognized, and not explicitly closed to those who would want to join.
Wassalam,
Faraz.
