 Please help us with this questions your help would be much appreciated as this will avoid any family conflicts. We are residents in UK but originally from India .My grandfather my father Dad passed away in 2005. He had two son and 5 daughter my grandfather had quite lot of land .mt father passed away in 1994 so 11 years before my grandfather did .in 2003 when my uncle visited My grandfather so two years before he passed away he Called all the respectable men of the village and he said while they all present made will written paper that half of he land goes to his sons kids who passed away which is one of me and half the land goes to my uncle who visited him .he never gave anything to his daughter apart from one daughter who look after him India .what my brother is saying is that even thought it was our grand father whish not to give anything to his daughter is anything wrong islsmically If we just take the land as our grandfather written it in his will
