Making one wudhu after another wudhu

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I read in a Hadith that the wudhu performed after another wudhu earns one immense reward. Is it permissible after one wudhu to make another
wudhu based on this Hadith?

A: Performing one wudhu after another wudhu is an act of virtue and earns one immense reward, provided such an act of worship is performed between both wudhus which is only correct and valid with wudhu. E.g. A person reads namaaz between both wudhus, then the new wudhu will earn him reward. Otherwise it will be a mere wastage of water.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
