Assalamualikum

My question is regards to Qasar Namaz. Staying in Makkah more then 15 days which includes the Hajj days would the Hajjis pray Qasar in mina Arrafat or full namaz since its within 48miles from their temporary stay.

Answer

If the Haji stays 15 days or more in Makkah before leaving for Mina, Arafat, then he is classed as a muqeem and he will pray the full namaz. Otherwise if less than 15 days then he is a musafir and when praying alone, will pray qasar. If praying behind an Imam – follows him.
