Boils, Wudu & Praying

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

A brother I know was recently afflicted with a skin infection whereby he had multiple boils on and above his knee. Filth would seep continuously (it literally went on non-stop for about 2 days) and he would change his bandages regularly. What should be done about salah in such a case? The brother ended up not praying whilst the blood and pus continued to flow and so ended up making 2 days of salah qaza, because he felt he was never in a state of wudu. What should be done in such a case?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Waalaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu,

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful & Compassionate
