What are the indications if Allah has blessed someone with an accepted hajj (hajj mabrur)?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad, his folk, companions, and followers

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

The central and most significant sign of an accepted hajj (hajj mabrur) is that “one return better than one was before,” as Ibn al-Humam explains in Fath al-Qadir. [3.182] The same is mentioned by Mawardi in Adab al-Dunya wa’l Din, and by Ibn Abidin in Radd al-Muhtar.

This helps one understand why the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The accepted hajj has no reward but Paradise.” [Ahmad, and Tabarani in his Awsat, with a sound chain, and others]

And Allah alone gives success.

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani
