Alhamdulilla i got married and my wife is 6 months pregnant now.I want to keep my kid’s name(if male and if female the you plz suggest some good name starting with ‘A’) as Muhammed Ashaz Khan.Can plz tell me what does ASHAZ means.I got to know that ASHAZ was name of sahaba during prophet’s(S.A.W)days and means one in a Million and was known for patience and goodness towards his parents.Can you plz let me know can i go head and keep this name. If not permissible then plz let me know the name of sahaba starting from letter ‘A’ Jazakallah Khair.

We could not find that Ashaz was the name of any Sahabi. This does not seem a good name. Instead, you should keep names like Ahmad, Abu Bakr, Ibraheem and Ismaeel, while for girls you can choose names like Aasiyah, Aaminah etc.
