Could you pls inform can I use the interest money received from LIC or from any fix deposit with any bank in giving the dowry to my daughter in her marriage. Is this ok ? Thanks

No. It is unlawful and haram to utilize the interest money in one’s own need or for children. This amount should be given to the poor and needy ones without the intention of reward.
