Is it permissible to pray Farz alone if the Imam leading the Jamath does not have a beard?

as salam alay kum…… I am in saudi now i have one question one day a saw a jamath(namaz) is going in masjid.i dint pray the namaj behind the imam bcoz he dint have beard ,i pray the farz lonely(single)then one saudi asked me y u not prayed with jamath i told he dint have beared,then he told me that ur doing bidath and giving havala of imam bin baaz that his namaz ill be ok even if he dint have beared and the person who dint not prayed behind him he doing bidath ,so plz suggest me regarding this masla and plz forward me mails in urdu and english ND ARABIC SO THAT I CAN SHOW TO HIM.

(Fatwa: 716/664=L/1429)

Shaving is a major sin and the imamah of one who commits it is makrooh-e-tahreemi. However, if there is no other reason and no pious and righteous imam is available nearby then one should perform salah behind the same imam instead of performing individually: قال علیہ السلام: صلو خلف کل بر و فاجر

Also, the scholars of Fiqh have written that one gets the reward of Jamat though the imam is fasiq, but the reward can not be obtained by offering salah individually:

صلی خلف فاسق او مبتدع نال فضل الجماعۃ، وفی الشامیۃ: افاد ان الصلاۃ خلفھما اولی من الانفراد (الشامی: 2/301)
