some of the people are opposing imam sahab who is working as pesh imam for 9 yrs in mosque peoples are saying that he is not hafiz imam sahab is not confirming that please suggest is it right or wrong to pray to allah behind that imam sahab?

On what basis they are opposing? If the imam is able to recite the holy Quran correctly along with fulfilling all other conditions, then his imamah is alright. It is not a condition for the imam to be Hafiz, only it is better.
